The Fall Meeting of the Central Texas Chapter was held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 in San Antonio. Following a tour of the new wing of the McNay Art Museum and of the French art in the museum's permanent collection, we moved to Central Market on Broadway for our luncheon and business meeting.
Presentations were made by Helen Guillory on the Open Resource Movement in Education, Debbie Callihan on Incorporating Mentoring Programs in Secondary Schools, Jackie Thomas on the AATF Conference in Liège, Belgium, and Michael Hydak on "la Belgique: les Flammands et les Wallons." |
